- Tourist Hotel Thessaloniki

Great location - just in the heart of the city, few steps from the square and the sea. Rooms very small - double one was in the size of the single one. Tiny bathroom and very old furniture. Clean but noisy thanks to the location on the busy (especially during the evenings) street. Good price but would not stay here...

+++ Great location right next to Aristotelous sq & 1 block away from the beach
Clean hotel
Adequate breakfast
- - - Extremely old building with very old rooms. This creates many problems like:
1)very small room, with very small double bed (it definitely wouldn't fit a person >1.90m)
2) the room door is extremely old, very short (it doesn't...

Small hotel in an excellent location. Helpful staff and nice, clean rooms. Very reasonable price. Only thing I missed a little bit, was a restaurant during all day. Anyway, breakfast (included in a price of acomodation) was very good.

I have stayed at the Tourist hotel on 30th August 2011 with a friend of mine.
It is right next to Aristotelous' square, at the heart of Thessaloniki, seconds from the sea front.
When we arrived to check-in, we were actually 30mn early, but it was not a problem and the very nice receptionist checked us in anyway.
The whole...

Because of the warnings about noise,...

The hotel is just a few blocks from the square and sea front so it's really easy to walk around. The staff were helpful most of the time. However the building itself is so old and dark and the room felt like 19th century. I also had to change room because it was so noisy (street facing room) then the...
