Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The worst experience we’ve ever had in Greece! Besides the location of the hotel, everything was deplorable: photos from the site do not correspond to the real ones, very deep smell of cigarettes, like if someone smoked in the number, the breakfast was extremly bad . Would not recommend to anyone this hotel, even for 1 night as we had.

We were passing by the Thessaloniki, and we decided that we want to stay in the cuty for one night. We booked hotel right there, without any problems. Hotel has deal with the parking near by. Parking is really close to the hotel, so you dont have to worry about that. When you come to the parking, they take away your keys and they park it in the garage for you. It is really safe. In one if the pictures, you will se where is hotel, and where is parking. Also, if you are the guest of the hotel, it costs 12 euros per day. When you are cheking in, you can park in front od the hotel, take the luggage to the lobby and drive to the parking, and you can do the same when checking out. Hotel is small, it is very close to the centre. Rooms are clean, and that is most important. In the night, if you are sensitive to the noise, it can be loud from the cars on the street. Staff is very friendly. I reccomend this hotel for this particula reason: if you are looking for the clean hotel, near the center, just to sleep in and to have place to put your stuff while you are looking around the city, this is place for you.

From the very, very tiny room (even the bathroom seem larger than the room itself), to the room temperature (extremely high), very thin walls (i.e. very poor phonic isolation), poor ventilation system (sort of air conditioning) to the very poor breakfast served in bed (the largest surface in the room) (the restaurant is closed, you need to call the reception (which takes a lot of time...) to deliver the small breakfast box) - everything was (unfortunately) a big deception. One can ask why I choose to travel to this hotel, my answer being that photos on website looked very, very different to the grim reality. We paid 74 euro for one night, totally not worth it.

Close to the center 5’ to Aristotelous sq. And 10’ to white tower by foot. Clean room helpful staff. Around the hotel you can find restaurants, cafes fast foods. Outside there is a bus stop that goes to the airport including the night line (1X and 1N). I highly recommend it and I will stay there again when I visit Thessaloniki.

We were overall pleased wiyh our stay here. Very easy to access frkm the airport and in a very central area on the main road of Thessonaliki. The rooms were clean and attended to daily. The air conditioning was excellent and it was a very good base for what we needed. Breakfast was pretty good and enough selection. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel seems suitable for not staying in and seeing the city. That's walking distance and it's a nice walk. Aegeon is average in all aspects. I slept well but the bathroom is small and the breakfast is below par. The price makes up for it though. The guy at the reception was nice too.

Hotel is situated 10 minutes walking from the city center. It dosen’t have his own parking, so they will offer you a 12 euro per night private parking very close. (This space is underground and you will need to check out at 11 o clock, otherwise they are charging 1 euro per hour extra). Hotel room was very small, TV very old style, bathroom was clean. It has a small balcony but beware of the noise, being located on one of the busiest roads in the city, you can’t stay too long there. By the way, in the night you need to keep windows closed as you will never can sleep. Air condition was good quality and we could keep it on all night without being disturbed. Check in and out were very fast, receptionist was very fast and profesional. Breakfast room is located on the firts floor and the room is very small, at first hour in the morning was a group of 20 persons and we had to wait to get in. There was only one waitress at that time who was clearing tables and refilling buffet, obiousley she was not having the time to do both. Later, a second waitress arived after the group left. Food selection was very small but did the job. Overall if you are on a budget, it is a place to spend one or two nights. We paid in that period 45 euro per night with breakfast included
