Little Big House is a modern guesthouse, perfect for travelers looking for a quiet refuge to relax, meet people and experience all interesting aspects of Thessaloniki, its rich culture, its colorful history, its relaxed day life and its vibrant never-ending nightlife. It is located in the most picturesque, quite and safe neighborhood - the centre of the Old City (Ano Poli) of Thessaloniki- and is easily found in a short walking distance from the city centre and from the most popular tourist sites. Everything began in 2005 after a travelling experience in Europe. Guided by our desire to provide travelers with a cozy place where they can feel like home, along with all the privileges of being hosted in a modern, clean and friendly environment we created our guesthouse "Little Big House" in Thessaloniki.

Girlfriend and I went for a cup of coffe and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly and nice, the coffe was extremly big and perfectly bittersweet, I ended up wanting more. Girlfirend got sour cherries with her turkish coffe.

We visited hotel cafe..This place has such a lovely vibe - very cosy, colorful, with good music. We had amazing brunch here, the staff is very friendly. You can sit inside or outside. Great place to stop while exploring Ano Poli. Highly recommend.

We did not book a room here, but were walking nearby and stopped for a drink and coffee and some nice time on their terrace. It was a cute little place with nice and friendly staff, great refreshments and prices. It was my favourite place in Thessaloniki!

I visit the little big house because I would like to have coffee and some time to relax with my company. The owner Vicky and her employers were very kind ,gentle and full of mood to have the best results for you. Concerning the quality and the quantity of the things that you can order I have to said that is an amazing catalog ! Especially, the fresh cakes and pies that they do is something so delicious that you must taste it there! Also, there many choices for vegetarian people too. Vicky keep moving in this spirit😉 Kind regards, Panayiotis

On arrival we got upgraded to a bigger private room! Think this was because the staff loved me - not going to lie about that! Got lots of strokes! The rooms had so much space for me to play in! This place is close in my heart as it is where I lost my first tooth! Dean placed it under my pillow and in the morning the cat tooth fairy brought me some treats and some carrot cake for Dean (NOT SURE WHAT TOOTH HE LOST!) someone told me it was the fairy but I have a sneaky suspicion it was the lovely staff!

How sad the Little Big House has closed. The staff were wonderful and the facilities high quality. The hostel was the best I've ever visited. The views from the rooftop terrace are impressive. The breakfast was satisfying, especially when I swap travel stories with people from around the globe.

Little big house is in a great spot in Thessaloniki, although is in the heart of the city if is in a quite path which reminds greek island. We have been there for a couple of times, we loved the snacks and of course their carrot cake. However, it is quite difficult fo access the place with a baby due to the fact there are too many straits steps. That made me think of people with moving difficulties and wheelchair. This is something that you definitely need to consider.

Very friendly helpful cheerful staff. Comfortable air conditioned 2 bed bunk. Shared bathroom. Kitchen between 4. Plenty of plugs for recharging. Clean bed and sheets and shower area. Zany reception area. Safe walk down to city Centre with 25 mins uphill return. Perfect simple breakfast included. Great advice on where to eat. Every city needs a little big house to make travel accommodation affordable and possible for the many. Mostly young travellers but open to all ages. Well done Thessaloniki.

The Little Big House became a favorite part of our trip. Vicky and all of the staff are so friendly, they make you feel at home. They were very helpful in answering our questions- they even helped book taxis for our group and helped us find a great hotel for a weekend trip. The hostel is very clean. I liked having a bathroom and kitchenette in our room. Having the cafe downstairs is a great addition! All the drinks and baked goods were amazing plus the space was relaxing and a great place to mingle with people from around the world. The location is also great- 5 minute walk from food and 15 minute walk to the sea and most tourist attractions. If we are ever back in Thess, this is where we will stay!

My friend and I stayed at Little Big House for a week and had an absolutely incredible time. The staff are amazing: helpful, friendly, bubbly, welcoming, the list goes on. So easy to get to, easy to check in, clean and spacious, and a beautiful outdoor space. It's a stunning little hostel that I would 100% stay in again! Couldn't recommend enough for anyone wanting a social and enjoyable stay in thessaloniki! Thanks guys!
