Stayed at the Megisti hotel in a Junior Suite with seaview for 4 nights in September 2010. The rate was a measly Euro160 p/n and this included a good breakfast spread. Our room was very spacious with a king sized bed, large ensuite with rainshower, sitting area, tv/dvd etc and a balcony overlooking the harbour. There was also a welcome... More

The hotel is well renovated. It is one of the two very good hotels of the island, the other one being Hotel Mediterraneo. They have different styles. This one is more conservative, while the other has a more hippie style. They are both excellent as they stand on one of the most beautiful and isolated Greek islands. Highly recommended!

This is a little off the beaten track on the island of Kastellorizo. We were there off season in October and it was perfect, quiet but still all the tavernas were open and the one disco. The weather was unusually changeable but the sea was warm and there is plenty of walking you can do. The Hotel is beautiful ,... More

Kastellorizo can be described in one word: magical!!! As soon as you see the picturesque village, the traditional architecture, the colours of the buildings, in such harmony with the natural environment, you feel immediately calm and relaxed!!! Megisti Hotel is the best place to stay in Kastellorizo. Its location is ideal, as it combines the best view of the village... More

The staff is EXCELLENT they make your day. The location is just absolute. The room 107 we had was very very very good. The bar on the terrace was like in a yacht. The only litle thing they did t have is a shower for late departs, if this is a problem. I am a greeck and I can understand... More

Stayed here a week. In one word: Magical. Although small things perhaps could be improved the overall feeling you are left with is just that: Magical. The property is very well run, and the best place to stay on the island, especially if you want to go for a swim in the hot greek summer. The Island and village of... More

Stayed here one night only and went for the suite as we were staying in fairly basic accomodation over in Kas in Turkey. Whatever faults in the hotel ( mainly on service side - people could , maybe , cheer up a bit) - this is in an AMAZING location that is beyond compare. Great swimming too and lounge area.... More

Hotel Megisti is situated in the most beautiful part of the harbor, facing the picturesque port. The hotel is renovated almost three years ago and all rooms are clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and with sea views. Service is excellent and hotel personnel is polite and willing, providing a very good standard of customer care. Restaurant staff demonstrated very good levels... More
