The hotel is really nice and directly on the beach in the vicinity of many shops bars and restaurants.The hotel is placed in a very quiet location, ~3 km away from the Old Town, to get to the Rethymnon city centre you can walk along the beach road (takes about 40 minutes).

We have spent several vacations at the Iperion.
We have tried other, more expensive hotels in Rethymnon, but we will always stay at the Iperion in the future.
This is NOT a luxury hotel with 24-hour room service, but instead a simple but very good well-kept hotel.

This hotel is situated at the end of the main street facing a lovely huge expanse of sandy beach.
Unfortunately, we booked the holiday ourselves using the hotel's own web site and confirmed by email that everything was satisfactory the day before we left.
