Babis is the best host ever! We loved the dinners around the long table where we met travellers from all over Europe. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We would return to Crete just to be able to stay at Villa Kerasia again.

Very quaint and nicely decorated B&B on Crete. It is located in the mountains about a half hour from the airport/port in Heraklion. It is a little out of the way, but the separation provides guests with peace and quiet and a great view of the olive groves in the distance. We arrived later in the evening and the owner...

Stayed here for the first four days of our holiday in Crete in early September. Villa is beautiful, and ideally located - easy to get to Heraklion / Knossos and the South coast, but far enough away from any main roads and noisy towns to ensure a tranquil, peaceful environment. Rooms are beautifully decorated, Babis is incredibly welcoming and helpful...

Villa Kerasia is our favorite home-away-from-home. We 've been here three times in the last 2 months and will return again this fall. It is everything you'd ever want in a vacation hideaway. Tucked up in the quiet hills outside Heraklion, it is still an easy drive to Heraklion (30 min). Babis (the proprietor) makes you instantly feel at home...

Mimořádný zážitek v kamenné pevnosti s všemi vymoženostmi soudobé civilizace. Z postele pohled na vycházející slunce , v popředí zeleň granátového jablka. Domácí snídaně na přání s fresh juice a moc milé chování majitele Babyse.
The talented Babis restored this historic villa and is an on-hands owner who will do his absolute best to accommodate his guests. He serves wine from his own vineyards--the rose is especially wonderful.
The rooms are spacious and quiet with beautiful views of the agricultural valley below. The location in the middle of Crete is convenient to Knossos and other...

My husband and I spent four nights here (out of seven total in Crete) and loved everything about the Villa Kerasia, from its beautiful stone walls (like a Greek version of a Provencal mas) to its views of hills covered in vines and olive groves, to its elegant terrace (with swimming pool), to dinners with an international array of guests,...

Our stay at Villa Kerasia was wonderful. The remote location was quiet but still close to the beaches. My family including to young girls felt completely welcome and comfortable. The host, Babbis sp? is a gracious host and very helpful in helping guests with finding there way around. The food was also amazing, we are still talking about the fresh...

Am a little late to write the review but stayed in June 2009 - from the later reviews not much appears to have changed. This place is absolutely fantastic. It is located in a remote area but it is beautiful. The room and pool were lovely and the breakfast amazing. The hosts were incredibly friendly. A really great place to...

Due to a frustrating day of delayed flights and missed connections, it was after midnight when we arrived at Villa Kerasia. Babis, our host, was patiently waiting and helped us to our room. I walked out onto our balcony to see a wonderful starlit sky and the twinkling lights of little villages in the valley below and felt the stresses...
