Villa Kerasia has been beautifully restored and decorated. The rooms were well furnished and comfortable, and the food excellent (we had dinner every night we were there, having decided after the first night we would not find better anywhere close). It is quite close to Heraklion, but very quiet and peaceful, with some pleasant strolls from the house.

This is a romantic place surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The restoration of the old house and the decoration is done with a lot of taste and respect. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the Cretan countryside. But it is Babis who made our stay unforgettable. He is a really interesting character, not just a host.... More

Wonderful restored house, clean simple rooms, beautiful views and an excellent host Babis who knows the area very well. Highly recommended. The location allows for day trips to most of the island (even Chania). Only downside is pillows are a little hard but this was sorted out the following night.
