Very close to Nea Chora beach, simple room, helpful staff, very good value for money.
Check in was painless, desk clerk spoke English and I received a room on the highest floor, furthest away from the elevators, as I had requested.. Room had a real nice balcony as advertised, with a view of an apartment building, though beach only a few hundred meters away.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and not too small! Balcony area was nice but there wasn't much of a view onto the street. It's close to the beach however which is nice... but about a 25 minute walk to Old Town in Chania which is a bit of a pain in the heat!
I liked the short curved ramp next to the entrance to get my wheelie case up to reception.
Staff friendly and understood English, though didn't speak it too well.
Very small lift holding 2 people with cases, maximum.
If you've not been to Crete or Greece before, beware the toilet as you must not put used toilet paper into it...
