We have spent our holiday in Chania, Crete in September and it was more than we expected. First of all Chania is a must see place in terms of food, old town, amazing beaches, nature, friendly and hospitable people. Especially in our hotel we got such a good service we are thinking of spending our holiday next year in this... More

My husband and I stayed at the Amalthia Beach resort in the last week of august. we got the room no 11 which was the room closest to the pool with a sea view. I have to say i just loved the room. we enjoyed our stay very much! The breakfast was good even thou we were always the last... More

We went to Amalthia from 18 to 26 of August. The room was an apartment in fact, a big one for 3 people, very spacious, very quiet (especially in the night), air conditioned, new furniture. It`s a very nice hotel.

My stay in Amalthia was a pleasant surprise. Upgraded services, good breakfast with fresh orange juice and very clean rooms. The beach with its wicker umbrellas was great, clean and this made the difference from the neighbors. I recommend this resort and will be back soon

Breakfast- The breakfast was a little gross, the hot dogs gave me heartburn the whole time and the eggs were watery and runny. However, they do have options for cereal or yogurt so you can't go wrong with that. Honestly - my oppinion is to try out Agios Nikolaos area, or the quiet areas surround Heraklion. I found it to... For the second year in a row we visited this hotel. Actually it is not a real hotel, on this complex are mostly appartments with garden or balcony. The breakfast (buffet) is included, and just fine. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the staff is very helpfull. The rooms are comfortable with a modern design. You can walk to several... More

Stayed in Amalthia 3 years ago. Came back this year due to the location (the best sandy beach in Chania) and found a "new" Amalthia. It was completely renovated last year and offers great comfort. I recommend it to everyone

We originally stayed at this resort 5years ago and the rooms at that time definitely needed upgrading. The recent refurbishment did not dissapoint ...great improvement. Situated right on the beach. Efficient airconditioning unit, modern bathroom, double bed suitably comfortable. Rooms cleaned daily. Resort requires you deposit WC paper in bin rather than down the toilet, this did not cause us... More
