The hotel is nicely located on the hill at the outskirts of Chania. It is separated from the pebble beach by a road with quite heavy traffic and at times it gets dangerous to get there. The hotel is old, it had a refurbishment, which was badly done and now old, it has had an extension, that looks old. The area is old and tatty. It is living on old memories. I would say more bad things, but we met so many people who loved it, that we must be wrong or have different standards.

I've been at Panorama Hotel and I confess I've been in better hotels (even 4 stars). As it seems, all rooms have carpets, which already tells a lot about the (non-) cleaness of the place.
