Booked this hotel thinking how bad could it possibly be? Turns out that it could be terrible indeed. Despite clearly requesting a quiet room with a double bed, we were given a twin facing the street. I knew they area, so i wasn't expecting much when i booked this hotel. It definitely is a run down hooker and drug infested part of Athens so keep that in mind when planning on booking in this area. I wasn't expecting to stay in Athens so when I relised I would have too I was worried I wouldn't find a place to stay! Thankfully Lido had a single room available for me.the room cost me €22 a night which was one of the cheapest in Athens apart from a shared Hostel room. Having booked the room I did... More
