As we were travelling on a Air Transat package, we paid extra to stay in this hotel because it had free WIFI,live jazz music bar and rooftop pool. WIFl we got 1 out of 3. When we arrived our safe wouldn't work but they had a tech come up and fix it quickly. Then our ceiling in the bathroom started... More

getting to president hotel was nice after having lived the island life for 2 weeks, but still not really up to the international hotel chains' standards. they spoke english, big plus. they make you pay for wifi and it doesnt work. the beds and pillows are very fluffy though, also a plus. staff is very courteous, they brought up water... Good points: Location - safe area, handy for 2 metro stops, only 2/3 stops from the city centre, local shops / restaurants etc Clean rooms Very nice pool area and roof top bar Bad points: Old rooms, old tv, the hairdryer is so old (ie 1960's!) you would be faster to dry your hair on the street. They take large... More

Just another acceptable option for the business traveler that has to stay in Athens for one-two nights. If you get a good rate, go ahead and book it, but if you have some time to dedicate you should easily find better options. If in a family trip, I would clearly go elsewhere. Summarizing my experience, there were a few things... More

The hotel has a good location, staff is friendly, clean rooms, breakfast buffet is good and room service is good. However the hotel is outdated compared to international hotels and standards. The hotel just needs some small updates in general. The vloor at the reception should be waxed, a nice smell through candles or airrefresher would be good. Also as... More

I've been there for conference with group of colleagues, with several organized lunches and dinners. Lunches and dinners were good, with wine included. Staff is friendly and helpful. I needed a copy of some papers - it took a couple of minutes. No free wi-fi. Overall hotel impression - average business hotel, quite oldy. Rooms are clean. Underground is far... More

It was a short business trip which I wish it was shorter. The room was relatively small, not warm enough and the double bed small and uncomfortable. The corridors were smelling like toilet!!! The breakfast was of poor quality. The personel was very helpful.

I booked a single room for 69 euro through the internet (www.booking.com) and enjoyed the facilities of a 240 euro/night room on the 16th floor. Vast spaces in the lobby floor for socializing, having a drink, studying peacefully as I had to, etc. Fine staff. Plentiful choices for breakfast. 17 euro/person enjoyable dinner as an option. Bathroom supplies could be... More
