Look one way and there's the Parthenon, the most iconic building in the Western canon: look the other and there are the remains of largest temple in the Roman world. We visited this hotel because some friends were staying here. The front desk staff was super helpful even though we knew we weren't guests; taking messages, helping us get a cab, giving us tourist info etc. We had a drink on their rooftop restaurant and the view was incredible especially in the evening. The location is very convenient.
