“Problem with cleanliness”

Me and my girlfriend were in that hotel for seven days, and by the problem of cleanliness i mean problems in bathroom. The toilet seat was broken, the shower curtain was dirty, and the bath tube had some rusty parts. I have to say that we were asked to to pay all in advance and the staff does not understand... More

“Good hotel for a budget”

The hotel is not exactly city centre, and involves a bit of hill climbing in order to get there (so be mindful if you have heavy bags), but it is not too bad once you get in the room! “Residencial Porto Novo - for budget travelers”

Residencial Porto Novo is a nice small hostel/residential not far away from the soa bento train station (20min walk) and the cathedral (which is not far away from the station). the location is a little off the tourist city centre, but not too far. since porto's ancient part isn't that big, i guess it's hard to find a hostel far... “Lovely little typical Portugese hotel”

Stayed here for a few days last summer. Very friendly staff, nice little room, nice bathroom. Only one moan and thats the room wasnt cleaned at all while i was there and only had 1 towel which was never changed even though I asked!
