Not far from portwine cellars and center. Quiet neighbourhood. Very helpful staff. Simple but tasty breakfast. We arrived early in the morning and could leave our bags at residencial. Room had air-conditioning and TV on the wall. Room itself was basic and bit worn out.

It is hard to expect a lot from a hotel that you pay 47 Euros the night (double room with breakfast), but considering Porto's prices, I believe that it is possible to find a better accommodation. Our travel arrangements were slightly complicated and involved a couple of deliveries to the hotel. The bookings and reception staff were exceptionally helpful. Great price for what you get. Area is a little dodgy looking when we arrived in the evening and not sure I would be wandering around by myself but the room had everything we needed, breakfast was included, free wifi, front desk staff also gave all you could ask for and more....
