It´s like staying at your peculiar great uncle´s place -- the over-make-upped housekeeper adorned with bright costume jewelry, the slip of paper over the hallway telephone with portuguese phonetic pronunciation for English numbers (uon, tu, thri...), the mismatched antique furniture crammed into the room. It´s not the most gorgeous place I´ve stayed, but for the price -- and our room... More

“Your best chance of getting good location in short notice in Lisboa”

We first spent a few nights at Pensao Royal just one floor down from Galicia. We had not booked in advance our last night in Portugal, and Royal was full. Royal's people suggested that we ask Galicia for a room, and they had many available even though it was mid-July and we we're asking for a room only some 5-7... More

The best accomadation I have ever stayed in. The Hostess Elizabeth is just the nicest person ever. The location is in the centre of Lisbon, the rooms are excellent and cleaned dailey, very safe area, wireless internet for free. Hinestly the perfect place to stay. I would highly recommend to anyone. Elizabeth & Roy is the nicest people.
