Just returning from a 7-day stay at Palacio Estoril over the Christmas and New Year's Eve period. The hotel is a member of the Small Leading Hotels of the World and was not disappointing at all. My only negative comment would go to the size of the rooms, which are a little small for couples as per modern standards (since... More

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and even had our wedding vows reception there in 2007 and everything they do is 5 star. Excellent service from the staff at all levels, buffet breakfast is superb and a great way to start the day. Hope to go back again one day. More

Great place. They call themselves "Grand and Cosy" and I absolutely agree. More

Beautiful hotel. Felt like royalty from the moment we arrived being greeted by the friendly doorman. The lobby and sitting area were like a palace. We stayed for 3 nights mid October and the weather was wonderful enabling us to use the pool with the poolman assisting us in all aspects. Rooms were exceptionally well appointed and very clean. Enjoyed... More

This is a tired old hotel living on its past when deposed or abdicated monarchs stalked its rooms in faded finery. Don't expect efficiency, good design, good food, and fun here now. Heavy soft furnishings dominate, and staff dressed for the 1930s. It's time the hotel brought itself up to date with a massive rethink and redesign. Though bathroom was... More

Not a touch of faded elegance at this hotel - it is completely renovated, with excellent service and all the latest features. The opool is fantastic as is the spa. Highly recomended! More

We stayed at the Palacio for a week towards the end of October - outside the regular season and so during a relatively quiet period for the hotel. The Palacio is a classic - and a classy hotel. Very stylish and with a wonderful sense of itself, beautifully updated to modern standards from its 1930's origins. If you're looking for... More

This hotel is flawless in every way, the building, the furnishings, the service, the pool and the Banyon Tree Spa. We have stayed in many similar hotels all throughout Europe and this is one of the nicest. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good quality, with lots of fresh juices and fruit, plus the usual hot... More

The Palacio Estoril breathes the grandeur of previous era's but is still up to date and equipped with excellent staff. I always stay here with a group of friends to play for a couple of days in the Estoril/Cascais/Lisbon area and we were never disappointed by any means. You might catch a celebrity of some sort here as well, but... More

This is the best classic hotel I've ever been in my life and it will be really difficult to find a better one. Large bedrooms with classic taste furniture, a large swimming pool and garden, an incredible amazing buffet for dinner and the best service you can dream from a really professional staff... Where is the side part of it?... More
