The hotel is ideally situated, lovely rooms, friendly staff and free transport to cascais railway station. Unfortunately the food failed to match up to the rest of the hotel. Selection is buffet, but is limited selection, warm not hot, not really the quality we have come to expect from the various hotels we have eaten at in Madeira Pestana Hotels.... More

Is now 25 years we stay in this hotel, so far is one of the best in Cascais, front to sea, Sintra is at 10min, and Lisboa at 30min, by car, you have acces to internet and fitness center, nice swiming pool.

Best thing - the very friendly staff! By European standards, the room was very large and bathroom also. Clean, good view, quiet, small kitchenette, and good blackout curtains against the morning sun. We definitely would stay again.

The Pestana Cascais enjoys a marvellous view to the magnificent Cascais Atlantic coast, and the hotel's nautical style interior decoration suits this location but could do with a serious facelift. Rooms are spacious, with balcony to the sea or landwards, bathrooms are adequate; reception areas are likewise spacious unless it is high season holiday time, when breakfast space gets crowded....
