Well located, confortable room with bad pilows. TV with a very, very, very limited number of channels. If you want a 5* don't choose this hotel. Everything would be fine if the rating was 4*. For a 5* the breakfast is poor.

Helpful staff but too young and inexperienced. Parking is awful though the hotel location is excellent and the hotel is beautiful from the outside. Good architecture. Inside...well...the room we stayed in was dreadful in terms of decoration and the dinning room was shockingly pseudo-modern for an ancient bulding like that, showing lack of taste. Regular breakfast.

We stayed overnight on a trip through Northern Portugal. The hotel is an interesting renovation of an old building. A nice mix of old and new.
