This place is a nice place to stay at Terceira. It's in the middle of the centre of Angra do Heroismo. The rooms are small but clean. We had breakfast and that was also allright.
Nice place to stay on the lovely Azores!

We stayed just two nights during a 3-island tour. Comfortable enough, although with a shabby interior (part of the charm?) It is situated on the main square and is in easy walking distance of the cathedral and harbour with the excellent gardens behind it. (It's worth walking up through the gardens to the tower for superb city views and all...

This is an excellent hotel, right on the main plaza of this amazingly beautiful little city. We stayed there for two days in June and loved every second of it. The city is astonishing and the isalnd of terceira is a gem. Truly. The hotel couldn't be closer to the energy of the city yet remains quiet, peaceful and professional....

Three weeks we stayed in this hotel. The room smelled awfull musty and breakfast was dull.
The inside swimmingpool (10x5 meters)annex so called fitnessroom(??) leaked from all sides when it was raining.
In the lobby whe found only the two young temporary receptionistes very friendly.
Daily price in midseason, 98 euro, not worth it.
Had a room with a view...

This hotel is right in the heart of Angra - which is great. The hotel is so dirty and OLD. They seriously need to update the rooms. The elevator is the smallest thing I have ever seen. The fixtures in the bathroom are 20 plus years old. The air conditioner knob broke off in my hand and you could see...

Impressive looking hotel (renovations now finished in front) with a wonderful position on the Placa Velha. The double room was a cell block overlooking a fine garden. A great pity that 4 men spent all day hammering the paintwork of the small bandstand almost opposite our window which, in addition to being the most inefficient means of removing paint, was...

Yes, it was a poor decision the hotel managemente took to make improvements in the hotel,
Usually is a good place to stay. Knowing Angra the way I Know I am pretty sure that that situation will be corrected.
And the adrees posted above is wrong. The right address is as Follows:
Hotel Angra Garden
Praca Velha
Angra do Heroismo

There weren't a lot of options for hotels, so I chose this one based on its location. It is right in the heart of Angra do Heroismo on the Praca Vela. Overall, it is a 3 star hotel so I didn't expect anything luxurious. The rooms were clean and had a terrific view of the city's public garden in back....

We stayed a week in the island and booked a room in Angra Garden Hotel.
On their website everything looked good - of course! "...rooms that are comfortable and well-equipped with modern amenities..." or "restaurant with a cosy atmosphere" - two quotations from them.
But, just step in it and face reality!
The lobby was barricaded with high paravans due...

The Angra Garden Hotel may not be my first choice of a place to stay in Terceria on a future visit. Since my Mother had stayed there 10 years prior and we knew we wanted to see the Sao Joaninas festivities from the hotel, we chose to stay here, but only for a couple days. We left the island to...
