Our 4-day stay at the Fayal Hotel was enjoyable. We had a nice quiet room with a huge terrace overlooking the harbour and the whole bay as well as Pico Islands. It is not worthy a four star hotel. The location is good and the amenities are also nice (pool outside and inside). The hotel is huge and it has a magnificent view. From the balcony we can see the Pico Island, the harbour and the pool. The service at reception and at the restaurant should improve a lot. Nothing wrong with the hotel itself: nice location with great views and a short walk from the center of Horta. Service at the restaurant is fine and so was the breakfast.
