I completely echo the first review...I really couldn't recommend this place highly enough. I would most definately return again and again!

Gerry and Dolf are so welcoming and friendly, Gerry is English, Dolf is Dutch (and makes a wicked Dutch Apple Pie!!). They will happily advise and recoomend beaches/sights to visit and they even loaned us an up to date road map... you will definatley need car hire as the first reviewer says.

The location is very 'out of the way' in a positive sense, you have some fabulous views from the spacious terrace outside your bedroom doors, where you can have your breakfast. You will be asked what time you like your breakfast, and Gerry will serve lay your table ready for when you get up each morning. If you need an earlier start on a particular day...just ask, he is very obliging!

As already mention... home made natural yoghurts and jams, homegrown oranges from their garden, it is plentiful and you will not leave for your day out... More

This is the 4th time we have stayed at this Guest House and it just gets better each time.
It is run by Gerry and Dolf. They will do everything to make your holiday special.
It has just three double bedrooms, all have en-suite bathrooms and their own entrance. They are spotless. There is a private Swimming Pool and even an Honesty Bar! Tea and Coffee is available all day.
If you give them advance warning they will prepare a meal for you.
The Guesthouse is about 20 mins from the main Algarve beach's and has amazing views of the surrounding countryside.and the Monc hique Mountains.

You will need to hire a car as it is a bit out of the way from Silves the nearest town. Silves is lovely with some very good Restaurants
Last but not least I must mention the excellent Breakfasts. Everything is fresh with homemade cakes, chutney and Jams etc. Sit at your own table and just take in the views whilst enjoying the fresh orange juice, cold meats, cakes and... More
