If you are looking for a sea-view, modern hotel in a more 'sterile' part of town then this is not for you. If like us you appreciate a bit of character and the interesting, artistically decorated abandoned buildings (of which there are many in Faro) then you will enjoy Alfonso's neighbourhood! The hotel itself has been modernised, we had a... More

My friend and I stayed here to be close to the Faro airport for an early flight out. It was not a terrible stay, but I also wasn't overly impressed. Clean sheets, fresh towels, hassle free check-in and proximity to the bus/train station were what mattered and this hotel had all of those things. I just wasn't "wowed" and compared... More

Stayed here overnight on our way to Albufeira to break up the weekend. We payed around £20 for the night including breakfast and had a clean, comfortable room in a good location - approx 5-10 mins walk from the shops, restaurants etc. Wasnt a great deal to do in the evening but found a great little ice cream bar near... the hotel was clean, staff pleasant and helpful, but the area in which the hotel is located is a bit worrying, particularly when you have to park on the street, which may not be outside of the hotel More

I went to see Faro bike rally and this as the only place that had a room to get one night sleep. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfy and clean. The location of this place is great and it's very safe place especially for solo travellers. I have to say you can hear some street noise (if you stay... More

Stayed here for a 4 day break in April, was a very good value, as on a budget and we were very happy with the hotel, the room, breakfast but when you read what the hotel has to offer they get it wrong, it does not have wi wi, or for sure does not serve fresh fruit juice for breakfast... More

I stayed here a few days with my boyfriend. Cheap hotel and very good location. Extremely close to bus and train station. Nice and friendly staff. Clean and quite spacious room. Some parts of the hotel needs renovation, but in complex it's good for its price. More

I stayed at this hotel one night "in transit" before continuing to Lagos. The location was excellent for that purpose, very close to the train station, and I found this small old-fashioned hotel quite nice. Some noise from the street. More

Did not stay long in the hotel due to the traffic going past and shaking the windows. I have never seen an area with so much graffiti. People were pleasant in the hotel so no grumbles there. Faro itself is worth a day trip as not a lot to see or do. Weather was nice and the beer cold, otherwise... More

I have booked this hotel via Book in Hotel. com. I'got a very good price for the 3 nights in a twin room with breakfast. I only payed 23 euro per room per night. For that price I had no high expectations and should be glad with a place like a hostel. But to my very surprice the hotel turns... More
