I visted Carvoeiro during my stay in February and the roof is now being repaired. It is unclear what other work is being done as I gather the condominium is short of money. I was told [so can't actually guarantee that this is fact] that Algarve Sol are not managing the building any more.

Will be getting all done up. Work has started ready for the spring views are breath taking.

A very depressing hotel experience indeed!! It is in a terrible state of disrepair and dirty. We stayed for 2 weeks, bed and breakfast. stayed this year in May 2009, accom. very spacious, 2 bed aprt. views from balcony lovely, location, brilliant, hotel ok pool ample, lick of paint would do wonders, for appearances, hotel staff very helpful and polite. We shall book again, probably 2010, we love carvaerio, and beaches.
