arrived to find a friendly english speaking receptionist. the apartment was spacious with a lovely bath/shower. very clean with towels provided. pool was sparkling clean, plenty of sun loungers and some very friendly cats. one ginger one had been in the wars (bless him)....look out for a moggy with a wonky head and funny eye...he is hilarious and likes ham!... arrived back today from these apartments with mixed views. The apartments themselves were great, just been done up, very large, with seperate kitchen and large balcony. The main problem was the reception only opened certain hours and of coarse we arrived outside these hours! None speaking english staff and the bar which never opened once even though its high season!... More

Found these apartments to be terrible. Have never left any comments on this website but would hate for people to go here with the wrong reviews. Olhos Do Mar Apartments are basic and comfortable, a little out dated but at least there is a little of the old portugal there as everywhere else has lost that old world magic which portugal used to hold.
