We stayed for one night.the staff were welcoming and showed us to our lovely room overlooking the surrounding countryside.The room was clean the bed beautiful,the bathroom immaculate.The restaurant traditional Portuguese served excellent food.Breakfast was also very good.Just one small fault,no tea making facilities.We thoroughly reccomend this lovely hotel.

The hotel was very good and reasonably priced, clean, well situated and very helpful staff. The restaurant was poor and to be avoided. They served pre packaged appetizers, tough meat and frozen desserts. Breakfast was slightly better. I don't know what the alternatives are in Marvao but any place has to be better food.

The room was on the small side but very comfortable. We had a valley view room, which ment people walking the walls could look straight into the room but the view was worth it. Helpful staff Food in the restaurant was okay Good Location

It´s the perfect place to visit Marvão and the surrounding areas, like Castelo de Vide. Everything was cristal clean, and the Hotel had been remodeled very recently (2010?). This place is situated on the top of the mountain. It has beautiful views, really nice restaurant and bar, welcoming atmosphere. You can count on comfy bed and nice breackfast.

Our room although small looked over the city wall with wonderful views.Don't forget to close the windows,as tourists can look right in. If you get the right room a wonderful view from right above the city walls uninterrupted across miles of open country below and into Spain. Bed was small, and the bath for children only, but well kept. Staff attentive and helpful with reasonably priced and reasonable quality food. Lovely hotel in a great setting. Walking around Marvao will keep you fit with its steep slopes. The hotel was well furnished, staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was good. A very relaxing stay. Views from the rooms over the country are spectacular.
