“A real disappoinment”

The hotel is beautiful, right in front of the Diana Temple, the historic setting and old furniture are great, but the restaurant is terrible. The food was cold, unseasoned, and very expensive for the quality offered. We can't recommend it, it's a shame how such a lovely hotel has such a bad restaurant.

This place has the perfect location in Evora. You won't get any closer to the temple of Diana which is right in front of hotel. We visited during Holy Week and the place was desserted. Enchanting hotel in a converted convent with a Roman Temple right outside. Evora is a great town to visit and this has to be one of the best places to stay. “Very good restaurant”

Évora have a lot of great restaurants, and the restaurant from Pousada dos Loios is one of the best. It's located in the cloister of the convent and have a nice garden. At luch, you have an amazing buffet, full with the typical dishes from Alentejo. The prices are reasonable, and the food is very good, like the service.

The Pousada dos Loios is one you'll never forget. It's one of the ancient castles/monasteries that the Portugese gov't has converted to top-notch inns. “Perfect location in Evora”

Right in the center of this ancient town. Charming small hotel with a warm, friendly feel in a converted, historic convent. Staff was very accommodating. Restaurant is located around the enclosed cloister for breakfast (included), they also serve lunch and dinner. Our room was large but had a musty odor - check your room before accepting.

“the most wonderful place to dine”

I took my wife for a romantic dinner at the pousada. we dined among beautiful arches and candles. the buffet dessert table was stunning! loads of eggy delights, tradtional from Portuguese convents.
