Excellent location, reasonable rooms at a fair price. Having stayed here previously I knew what to expect and found it satisfactory. Just to pick up on previous reviews, we also had to wait for someone to turn up at reception, something which should be far better monitored.

This is what I experienced.. Arrived, no-one on the check in desk. Hunted around to find someone. We had an overnight stop in Ypres. Hotel very comfortable, staff very friendly. Great breakfast. Position of hotel excellent for Menin Gate and touring around Ypres and Battlefields. Very good value for money.

I had an excellent stay quite some time ago, and with the new owners and renovations it sounds like it would be even better now! The friendly, helpful service and great breakfast (huge hot chocolate and loads of yummy food, in an elegant restaurant overlooking the square) made this hotel stick out in my memory.
