Very friendly staff/owner, the hotel is located in a completely renovated old building right in the centre of Ostend but in a quiet location (except potentially on wed/thursday when there's a weekly market close by but have no first hand experience of this, when we stayed it was very quiet). Helpful staff, beautiful building, affordable, good breakfast, good beds, good location... couldn't fault it. (we did have a door between the room and the bathroom.. given the review below I thought I'd mention this)

Really small room, but lovely decorated. New nice bathroom facilities. Good location to explore Oostend. Would love to come back and see more of Oostend. Good to know: the bathroom is sort of in the room: there is no door between the toilet / bath and the room. For us this was not a problem. Very friendly staff.
