My husband and I stayed at the Royal Stewart in October of 2011 for 2 nights. Maggie was a great host!!! Upon arriving she let us chose which room we wanted. We chose the one with 2 twin beds, but it had a (small) private bathroom. After choosing our rooms she gave us some information about the city, and a... More

We had a wonderful Stay at the royal Stewart. Breakfast was nice and simple and consisted off fruit salad and breads, meat and cheese. No wifi or tv in rooms was the only downside. Also Maggie gave us a lovely suggestion for dinner not far from the b and b (we went there twice). 65 euros a night is a... More

Stayed for two nights on our first visit to Bruges. Thoroughly looked after by Maggie and Gilbert and location couldn't be better for access to the best bits of this beautiful city.

Very comfortable room with a very nice breakfast. Walking distance to everything in Bruges. Maggie and John went out of their way to make our stay was nice and comfortable. They really went beyond what is expected to help us.

I was a solo traveler who stayed at this wonderful place a few weeks ago in mid September. I can't express enough what a wonderful place this is. Relaxing, great location. Maggie made every aspect of my stay perfect. Not only did she give me fantastic advice about places to see and eat (and sent me to my favorite pub... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in mid-September at the Royal Stewart and everything was great. Maggie is an exceptional host and has lots of information on Bruges. We looked forward to breakfast each morning and the interesting conversations with the other guests. Reviewers will see that just about everyone who stays here rates it very high, including us.

My mother and I shared a large twin room with a spacious bathroom at the Royal Stewart B&B recently and absolutely loved it. Our host Maggie was delightful and made us feel right at home. A lovely breakfast is put on each morning & Maggie kindly packed us some sandwiches for our last morning as we were leaving very early.... More

We booked here on the advice of friends who stayed here and we were not disappointed. We had a large room on the third floor. Maggie was wonderful and Bruges is an awesome place to visit. The Royal Stewart was clean and well located only a few minutes walk to the centre of town.

Bruges is not an ordinary place, so you should expect something as nice as Bruges to stay there. That is what happened to us during our stay with Royal Stewart Bed & Breakfast. As we read about Bruges, we understood that staying in a modern hotel in this city would be a mistake. It wont really give you the right... More

Royal Stewart is ideal for visiting Bruges - a few minutes walk from the centre, quiet and comfortable. Maggie is very friendly and we enjoyed our short stay very much.
