We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and the owner ( I think he was the owner) was so amazing. It was just my hubby and I and we were placed in the largest room in the castle even though we only asked for a regular room. The owner carried my bags up to the room and gave us pamphlets on things... More

I stayed in room n. 2 and I must tell it was an amazing feeling to wake up in this pinky room with a lake view and enjoy my own jacuzzi in the evening. The room was pretty clean and very warm (unlikely my colleagues in room n. 8. weren't that lucky, but that room was simply great - even... More

We had a great 2 nights in this castle - it's atmosphere is just like walking into the 15th century - the breakfast service is great and the rooms are fun !

It’s exactly as presented in pictures. Staff is wonderful! It’s a little bit of a walk from the centrum but it’s worth the walk/taxi/bus ride. Stay here if you really want a quite relaxing time, country feel, a castle visit, something out of the ordinary.

Just returned from our second trip to France using chambres d'hote . We thought last year we had just been lucky in choosing superb 'houses' but it was the same this year . We visited Pas de Calais, Champagne and this year Normandy . All squeeky clean and charming hostes . Would never consider using a motel now . Helps... More

this place was so fun to drive up to through the cow pastures, woods, and then over a small bridge with moat and finally through a stone gate. we were met by a friendly gentleman who filled us in about the castle and town. we stayed in the family room. it is not fancy but it is cozy. we enjoyed... WOW! Our stay in the castle was amazing! Most furnishings are antique or original. No detail left out to an authenic feeling experience. Out of town / Quietest place we stayed at all vacation. They catered to our every need. Short drive to town. Park at the train station for 2 Euro a day and take the free metro bus... More

If you are the type who likes everything shiney and new, this may not be the spot for you. But if you want to stay someplace unique and one that you will always remember than stay here. We spent seven nights here and loved it. My wife and I went over for a wedding and wanted to spend the rest... More

My husband and I spent three nights at this castle on the outskirts of Bruges and enjoyed every moment. The directions on the website to reach the property by bus are very clear but we chose to instead take the advice of the man selling bus tickets and ended up walking 2 or 3 miles with backpacks from another bus... The building itself is absolutely stunning and a wonderful place to stay, at night there is an honesty bar down in the hall so you can sit and enjoy the castle all to yourself if you are lucky! It is also a pretty spooky adventure creeping around all of the corridors and rooms with your bottles of beer! We stayed... More
