We stayed room 228, overlooking nice terrace..a quiet "comfort" double - we would not have wanted a smaller room as we stayed for 4 nights. Room was adequate for our needs. We stayed in the main hotel, not the annexe, which I cannot comment about, but we did see people coming into the breakfast cellar from outside so we think...

Yes the layout is eccentric, quirky I would call it, but dig deep in your pockets and stay in a comfort room, they are really lovely, don`t book the smallest room and then complain about it, because shockingly enough they are quite small! It`s a great hotel, breakfast is lovely, a large range of breads, pastries, cooked meats and cheeses,...

Beware room 210! Mold all over! The room is unbelievable small, actually, we realised it used to be a single room, they just put two beds together. Really smelly and very noisy.
The beds awfully soft, not kidding.
And...something strange happened. My husbands mobile charger disappeared, we luckily realised just after the room had been cleaned up, so the cleaning...

I travelled to Bruges in January with my sister, her husband and their 8 month old. The hotel is located very centrally and easy to get to from the square, however it is a very higgle-de-piggledy layout.
Getting to our room involved stairs, a lift, a walk across a slippery outdoor area and then 2 flights of more narrow stairs....

We parked our car in the "car park" (read burnt out garage nextdoor) we climbed the (urine smelling) stairs to our appartment after 5 minutes trying to open the heavy door and when we climbed the stairs to our annex appartment we were quite frankly horrified by what we found. heavily smelling of cigarettes, wires hanging out of sockets, sockets...

Great location, very comfy bed and a very good buffet breakfast made up for the all in one plastic 1970s caravan bathroom, staff were pleasent and helpful.
Would not advise booking parking with them as they can only accomadate a couple of cars for a few hours a day, we parked at Pandretje ? underground 5 min walk and only...

Had all you need for a two-night stay in a "Fairytale" city. A few hundred feet from the belfry tower and the market square where there is much to choose from to eat.
Definitely make sure to have some mussels and great belgian beer.
Included breakfast was more than enough, with pastries, boiled eggs, hams, cheeses and such. Excellent short...

Stayed for one night in March 2012. Parking is hilarious (in a bad way). The hotel rooms are not great, but I do believe the apartments are superior. My double room was tiny. Barely the width of the bed.
However, staff are friendly and helpful. You can rent bikes from them. And walk outside and you are in the heart...

Nice hotel in the very center of the city, just a few steps from the market, the tall belfry and lots of restaurants. The hotel itself is divided in wings and looks like a labyrinth when trying to reach the breakfast room. Very cozy, clean sheets and bathroom. Good prices comparing to other hotels in the same region.
