Very small simple rooms, unlevel wood floors and huge windows all add to the character of this old creaky building. Staff was extremely friendly and quick to resolve any issues. Our first room had problems with the sink drain (sewer gases) - they were very apologetic and moved us immediately. Very friendly staff. The breakfast room was quaint and relaxed. Excellent location. I had read other reviews warning about the absence of an elevator, but we were only one floor up so it wasn't a problem. The room and bathroom is on the small side.

Great little hotel and near the center of town. Nice and clean rooms with their own bar and restaurant on the first floor. Very good bear selection ask about their bottle list. The owner is very knowledgeable about Belgium beers.
