I only stayed here for one night on a short trip to Belgium. It is a motel-style building with external stars and balconies leading to the rooms. It's based in a pleasant, quiet residential district. My room was quite small; there was just room for the twin beds, sideboard and TV although the bathroom was reasonably spacious and well kitted... More

We stayed for 2 nights and were happy with the quiet room and bathroom in Motel style accommodation which was basic and very clean.

We were very impressed with how accommodating they were with our two labradors. They only charged 5 euros per dog. For those who may be discouraged from staying at a hotel that accepts dogs, let me assure you that the room was spotless. Since the floors are laminate, there were no mystery disgusting stain marks sometimes seen on upscale hotel... More

Stayed here for two nights in Febraury. The staff were very pleaseant, welcoming and helpful. The room was basic, and no more or less than I would expect for this type of accommodation. It was clean and the bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had both bath and shower (over the bath). The shower was... More

I have stayed here in this chalet type accommodation several times before. The rooms are basic but clean. The windows have steel shutters, the tv receives BBC and ITV and coffee and tea making facilities available in the room which is not often the case on the continent. Bar and restaurant in the main complex and the breakfast had good... More

We stayed as part of a National Holidays package with Hull ferry included. On first evening we kindly requested a table for two but we were told in a very rude manner that this was not possible and eating with the rest of the 20 package guests was compulsory. Tables of 6 or 8. It was a special anniversary for... More

Stayed here in mid-october so it was quiet. Nice to see BBC1/2 + ITV on tv! The room was basic (think Travelodge only a bit smaller) but very clean. The staff were excellent and very helpful, and as in most of Belgium, spoke fluent english. Breakfast was mainly continental with some cooked food and was fine. This hotel is ideal... More

Stayed here overnight at beginning of our trip through Europe this summer. It was the most expensive room we booked and the lowest quality. Rooms were dull and very, very basic, the breakfast was extra and was ok - but overpriced. The location was useful for motorway access and bus into town but wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed here with our coach party recently, but found it to be more like a motel than a hotel with the restaurant and 'bar' in a separate building from the accommodation, which were more like chalets. The rooms were clean but very basic also it was very noisy we were in the end room and during the night and... More

We first stayed at this Campanile about eight years ago when it was a family-run establishment with a memorable "rustic" decor and very good "country cooking" menus. This time, for a two day break to visit Bruges, we found it to have an additional annexe dining room and a totally revamped reception area and original dining area (although the old... More
