Conveniently located, tucked away behind the Burg and directly on the water, this was more of a B&B than a hotel. While the rooms & common areas are dated, the price, at 75 euros a night, including breakfast, was perfect. The staff were very friendly and I would return on a future trip.

We stayed here as a couple for 3 nights in early April. Great location; well run; nice staff; enjoyed the breakfast every day. Nice to have the free wireless. Sure it's older and not entirely up to date. But that is all part of the charm. Highly recommended.

Beware if you stay here that the police have become very hot on parking even for a short time to unload your luggage - it took us 15 minutes and when we returned to the car - we were being booked and a tow truck had been called to tow us away - we had to pay the ticket and... More

Stayed here for two nights during our holiday. Perfect location for first time visitors, easy to find and close to all amenities. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast with a view. Room is tiny but we spent most time in town. Linen very “crisp” and the room was not modern, but it had a small window... More

Went here for Valentines dinner, what a mistake. The food was dreadful, over cooked rubbery lobster, over cooked soggy vegetables and what tasted like packet mix sauce. The whole awful experience cost us a fortune. The service was slow and the waiters rude and arrogant. It ruined our night. Avoid at all costs - there are much better restaurants for... More

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights after New Year's Eve (2012) and really fell in love as soon as we stepped in the door. The room we had overlooked the canal and was very spacious. The bathroom was ultra modern and the king-size bed was beautifully ornate. The service was excellent and breakfast was...cute. Don't except... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location right in the middle of everything... the hotel restaurant lies on the river which is beautiful and the lady who owns the house/hotel is very friendly. The hotel however is quiet dated and the rooms are small and very noisy, every sound can be heard. However I would still stay here again despite... More

Stayed for two nights to see the Christmas market. Location is ideal and the dining room for breakfast is lovely with a nice view over the canal. First night we stayed in a room on the first floor which unfortunately was right next to a public toilet for the hotel. The walls are not insulated enough to muffle the sounds... More

After trying to make a reservation in a few restaurants in Bruges without success we decided to try walking in on this one because of its location. After asking if we had reservation and saying that it would be very hard to accommodate us the lady managed to find a table in a fairly empty dining room. After quite some... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in early December on a bed and breakfast basis with two friends. The hotel is situated in a superb position right on the canal in olde historic Brugge just a short walk from the main square and the Christmas market. From the outside it is perfect, in a little...
