I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions on business visits to the city, and would not wish to stay anywhere else. This hotel is a haven from the busy, tourist city. Excellent public rooms and all appointed to a high standard. Some of the bedrooms can be a little on the small side, but still perfectly... More

Staff is untrained and ignorant to service requests... especially front desk personal is totally deplaced for a 4star Hotel.. We faced it in several occasions will move for future stay to the very near alternatives e.g. Crown Plaza etc since a Hotel should make sure guest are treaded well any time and especially being a frequent hotel guest... I recommend... More

We stayed at the Casselbergh for 3 nights. I had read a few reviews on Trip Advisor and to be honest I was a little disappointed with the hotel as I didn't feel it lived up to it's reputation. The lobby and public areas are beautiful and the front desk staff were very helpful. We had booked a standard room... More

We stayed at the Casselbergh the last of April 2012 and found the hotel staff to be attentive, the room perfect, and the location excellent for exploring the town. Unfortunately, my wife broke her elbow and was confined to the room for several days; the staff were very helpful and understanding. I was able to find any number of little... More

Stayed for 3 nights in Jan 2011, almost by accident after turning up to the hotel originally booked to find it away from the historical centre, dark, dingy and almost bereft of staff - the very opposite of this hotel, we left immediately to seek better lodgings. Driving around the centre of Bruges on a dark winters night with a... More

We had a long weekend here, and had a wonderful time. The staff were great, the decor was beautiful and the facilities were brilliant. Photos of the bar don't do it justice, there a lots of small rooms with comfy seats. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel has a traditional style but feels new and clean and well taken... This hotel stays with me as one of the warmest hotels I've ever stayed at. I believe, if my memory serves me correctly, it is only rated 4 star as it does not have a laundry list of amenities (lovely vault gym in the stone cellar though) - but it is a beautiful hotel with a little bit of soul.... We stayed here over New Year, and it was a wonderful experience. The building is impressive, and the interior is luxurious yet warm and welcoming. The staff is very attentive and the location is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

Yes, it is true what other reviewers have said, the hotel really is in the best location for exploring all of Bruges. Big, luxurious rooms, the worlds comfiest pillows and beds, big tv on the wall and well laid out bathroom with all toileteries provided. It's the other little things as well that make all the difference.....free internet use near... More

Stayed for 2 nights and had a good rate from booking a deal with Railbookers. If you like small intimate hotels this is probably not for you but we found it an excellent warm comfy base from which to explore the beautiful city of Brugge and really is an impressive building near the centre of the city. Our room was... More
