We appreciated being out of busy Ghent centre near tram stop and station ,as quieter.Good hotel, would stay again.
Arrived around 7pm last friday evening, and checked in, which was swift.
Got out of the lift and immediately noticed a stale smell, almost like an ask tray. Got to the room, and it was in a corner location, so it was a triangle shaped room.
Nice, airy, two windows and a desk with mini bar...all good so far, until...

The room was neat and clean. The places we needed to be were accessable both by tram and train. The staff were friendly. I enjoyed my 5-night stay there and would stay there again.
The hotel is located about 3 minutes from the railway station. There is a tram stop right in front of it so getting to town is no problem during the day, but you will probably need a taxi if you stay out late.
The hotel has obviously been redecorated recently and the reception and the room were very nice. The...

- Curtains, some were coming of the wall!!!
- Noise: There is a lot of noise from the area
- Location: Not centrally. a far walk from the citycenter
- Breakfast at exactly 7am, not 1 minute earlier!! Far too late for many...

We needed a hotel in Ghent for one night and decided to stay in this Best Western thinking "how bad can a chain hotel be"? We were given a room that was on the 1st floor. Although the rooms had no smoking signs on the doors, there was a very smokey smell in the hall. The room was bare but...

Choose the hotel because of its location near to Gent St Peters railway station Worked out perfectly ,Took trains to Antwerp, Ostend, Ipper, Brugge and Tram to Gent Arrived early but within 10 mins room ready, Reception good. No room noise, Room and Bathroom clean and well appointed. Breakfast was ok
The hotel is situated 4 mins from the main railway station and 20 mins walk from the centre,
Looks like an eighties throw back ,breeze block walls in the corridors dark even in the bedrooms ,automatic lighting in the corridor by the lifts and stairwells not very instant.
The fan in the bathroom in the room was caked thick in...

Best avoided. Pleasant looking hotel on the outside, the corridors inside feel like a prison. The decor in the room was out-dated, it looked worn and old. Holes in the sheets - rather depressing staying here. However, the breakfast was good although the dining room felt like a staff canteen. It was quite expensive - there must be better deals...

WE have just returned from four nights at this hotel.
The staff were all English speakers and very nice and helpful.
Hotel looks good in side and out. We had a triple room no the 5th floor. It had everything you need. Large airy and bright. No air con tho so im guessing it would get hot in the summer....
