Not my normal type of hotel, (a little pretentious and try hard) but as an experience, it was cool. Rooms- Real modern. Shower-turbo charged! Excellent secure parking for motorbikes. Walking distance from the station, newly refurbished, superb (very, very good) breakfast + all is family run. Walking distance also from the main attractions of Gent (just stay by the river). Very good restaurant to dine at. This is not a three but at least a four star service / package.

The Europa hotel is located on the edge of Ghent Center, it is quiet and at the same time close to the Station, Shopping, restaurants and historic sites. The hotel is not in the centre, far away if you go walking but just 5 minutes by car. It's a typical budget hotel, nothing special in it, although at not cheap price (85 €). Rooms: don't expect any luxury although it was very spacious. Breakfast is good and the staff very helpful

Okay for a short overnight stay was our requirement for a Friday night. The Europa Hotel fitted the bill.
