Four of us stayed here for one night . Very convenient hotel right in the middle of the square in Bastogne Clean tidy but basic rooms. Good continental breakfast. The restaurant was very good. Town was buzzing in the afternoon of the Saturday. Easy parking in the square. Great WW2 places of interest nearby. Communication problems as the staff speak... More

Bastogne is a rather depressing town when cold and wet but when the sun shines super. We nearly always stay in the Hotel Collin it is in a central position, the main Sq, and the rooms though a little dated, are clean and well maintained. This last visit we had two of our grandchildren with us and were able to... More

My wife and I stayed at tthe Hotel Collin while visiting the area involved in the battles of 1944-45. We were very surprised (and pleased!) at the size of our large room. We faced on the main square, but had no problem with noise during our stay. There are numerous restaurants and bistros in the immediate area, many of which... More

Hotel Collin is on the main town square in Bastogne, Belgium. The owner speaks english and was very helpful in pointing out attractions and sights that we might want to see while we were in town. We had a lovely room which overlooked the town square. The room and bathroom were both very nice and comfortable. The hotel is very... More

My husband and stayed at the Hotel Collin while we toured the WWII sites around Bastogne. The hotel is located right on the central square of Bastogne and while we have read the negative reviews about the noise, we experienced no problems in this regard (even sleeping with the windows open). The room was clean and very large by European... More

we arrived and parked, thought we would try the collin, as it was the nearest. we were given a room on second floor, overlooking the square, we had french doors, but these had been locked shut, so could only open the smaller window. As the hotel has no air con, it got rather hot on a night, and you needed... More

I don't know who hands out the stars in Belgium but it must be some kind of simpleton! To give this 4 stars is ridiculous! The most exciting thing is it has an automatic door. The lobby is about 5 feet wide, basically a long box. We booked a comfort room, basically the cheapest one. Firstly the place is very... More

This very small hotel is located in the centre of Bastogne as is therefore a perfect base for exploring. The hotel is very basic. No A/C in my room, which got very warm. Opening the window ment it was very noisy so not a great nights sleep. The bedrooms need to be redecorated but the bathroom was excellent. The hotel... More

Carpets are old and dirty. No front desk person. Ring bell and wait for the girl to come from the restaurant. With the window open, lots of noise coming from the square especially when the bars close. Breakfast is typical european, cheese, cold cuts, croissants etc. Positive points: Most restaurants steps away. Though parking has a small fee, my guide... More

I've stayed at the Hotel Collin twice while visiting Bastogne, once in summer and once in winter. It's a very clean and well-run, boutique hotel located right on McAulliffe Square, steps away from restaurants, shopping and attractions. Note that this is definitely a European style hotel, so rooms are a bit small by US standards. A double room has two... More
