Good hotel. I sometimes stay there when visiting our factory in Maubeuge, France. Reliable service. Comfortable Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. I noticed a big improvement in the dinner menu. I had to ask to change my room on this occasion because the first one I was put in (414)was very small and smelt of cigarette smoke. I prefer this... More

This hotel is peaceful. It is not the most modern place in Europe however it is clean and the internet (WIFI) is free. No cost for parking either. Surrounded by a forest the environment is a welcome to a long day of work.

When my GPS told me to turn down this narrow wooded road i though there was no way there could be a hotel here. The location was convenient for my work at Chievres AB. The rooms were very modern but a bit on the dark side. The restaurant food was fine, nothing special. There is nothing around the hotel. One... More

We stayed at this hotel after being referred to it by co-workers of my husband. We stayed at this hotel for approximately 3 weeks while waiting for our household goods to arrive from Canada. Although it is a bit out of the way, i.e. you need a vehicle if you want to eat someplace other than the hotel, it is... More

Great hotel. Staff are well-trained, polite and helpful. The hotel itself was a delight to stay in: rooms were tastefully done, the bar service was good, hotel lobby a bit crowded. The restaurant dinner was exceptional -- kudos to the chef..

This is a nice hotel tucked away in the woods, with friendly staff, great rooms, however..... The hotel food would benefit from serving simpler food. The restaurant and the bar both offer high quality but pretentious and expensive food. Breakfast was fine, with a good selection and the coffee was superb. Free wifi is great but sadly the conection keeps... More

Stayed overnight on business in this hotel, which is situated at the end of a 2-3km country road,. So it;s not suitable to go wondering around Mons from on foot, but it's easy to get a taxi into Mons itself about €17 each way. Hotel is on a slight hill and surrounded by forest so location is pleasant. Parking is... More

This Mercure is clean and modern and in the middle of a beautiful forest, which suited us just fine. Room spacious and adequate; no wardrobe as such, just shelving, but that makes it easy to make sure you've left nothing behind! Pleasant, quiet and relaxing stay. No use at all for noisey night-clubbers [thank goodness]. Agreeable staff, clean comfortable bar... More
