We stayed in the Congo Room and the decor was fun and over the top. We found this hotel to be fun and whimsical, but also exceptionally clean and comfortable. The host was really nice and informative and made us feel very comfortable. He is obviously very proud of his establishment and it shows throughout the hotel. The location is... More

This is quite a 'funky' hotel, the room are themed and we were given Japan for our 3 night stay. The room is split level with a steep staircase joining the two floors, this 'ladder' was a bit steep for us but I only needed to go up there to charge the laptop, there being few mains sockets on the... We enjoyed it and you feel Welcome at the Welcome Hotel. We stayed one night in the Istanbul room, a small but cosy and really nicely decorated! You think you are in middle East when you enter the room. Every room has its own character and that makes this hotel special, unique setup and so much more than a standard... More

We stayed 5 nights at Welcome Hotel and found it perfect. The Airport Shuttle was excellent, with the owner Michael picking us up for a 6:30 AM arrival and the round trip rate for 2 is affordable. They graciously stored 3 bags for 3 nights we spent in Bruge and upgraded us when we returned for our last night. Very... More

Whichever you choose, the stay was wonderful! Right in the heart of a great area, short walks to most major downtown sites, right in the heart of Ste. Catherine and stroll to St. Gery areas, this hotel definitely has a charm all its own. We were lucky enough to score an upgrade to the Egypt room, which was quite the... More

We stayed in three countries in three days! Because while in Brussels we stayed at the Welcome Hotel. The first night in the Marrakech room and the second (we were kindly upgraded) in the Egypt Room.  The rooms were incredible. But, like all great hotels, it's not the rooms that make the stay fantastic - it's the people. Michael and Sophie love... More

Stayed here late March 2012, Thursday night, 2 adults, 135 euros for the "Kenya" room. Would stay here again, but if price matters, there are less expensive hotels in Brussels. LOCATION - Located near Fish Market and Ste. Catherine church and about 100 feet from St. Catherine Metro stop. 10-15 minute walk southeast to Grand Place. ROOM - Our third... More

My wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable 5-night stay at the Brussels Welcome Hotel during the early spring. For those who relish American-style bed-and-breakfast hotels and inns, you should enjoy staying here as much as we did. If you expect and demand the royal treatment, you should sleep elsewhere in an The following is a three-item list of what... More

We stayed two nights at the Brussels Welcome Hotel in late March 2012. The hotel people were very helpful. The location is perfect. You can walk to all of the must-see sights in the heart of Brussels. The owner of the hotel recommended the Royal Restaurant located within two blocks from the hotel and it was one of the best... Standing outside by hotel room, I had no idea what to expect when I opened the door. The hallway leading to my room (Thailand) was painted with guideposts directing you to various countries, a landing was decorated with old airplane chairs, and my door had a gold mask on the outside. I'm happy to report that while the room is... More
