The room was very spacious and nicely presented, with a bearable amount of noise (at first floor level) coming up from the street (always a consideration in Antwerp - see my review of the All Seasons). Top marks for the bed and meticulous bed making. The bathroom could have done with a good clean with some descaler. Breakfast was pricey...

the service was really great.
our room could have used underfloor heating in the bathroom (or a larger bath floor mat)because the marble was quite cold. Also, the bathroom could have used one or two more towel bars.
But it's a new hotel so hopefully some things will be added in the future.

I was very disappointed by this hotel. It has not been renovated, everything dated, stains everywhere, the room had a smell of smoke. I couldn't sleep at night, air-con wasn't working and when I asked the staff if there is a/c they said no. Staff not friendly or helpful at all! Also, it is very noisy. They decided to collect...

We stayed in this hotel for a long weekend in Antwerpen. The location of the hotel is great, it's 3 minutes to the central station and 3 minutes to the main shopping street the meir.
The hotel itself I would rate as rather mediocre though. The rooms are quite large but rather sober. Our room had a terrible smell of...

Staff pleasant and friendly, rooms clean and adequate but in need of refurbishment and update. Would not class as 4 x. Weather was not particularly hot but the rooms, (even after an upgrade after complaining on first night )were unbearably hot and stuffy. Could not sleep with windows open as the noise from a live band playing nearby went on...

Stayed 3 nights in this hotel and had a huge but very stark room. No tea/coffe making facilities in room. Having read other reviews I can agree that there are a few seedy areas around this hotel but no worse than some areas in London. The breakfast was buffet style and plenty of food to suit all tastes. The staff...

The Residence is well located near the centre of Antwerp, walking distance to the Mier shopping area. Rooms are sparsely furnished. Shower area is badly designed, no place to place shampoo and soaps. Rooms overlooking the front can get noisy at night.
The breakfast is better than the cold spread offered at similar hotels.
