For our second time in Vlissingen we chose this hotel because one of the few with rooms with seaview. The room had a very small balcony but being autumn anyway we did not stay outside, we could open the curtain and just enjoy it from the bed. I'm staying regularly in this Hotel as view from a room overlooking the Schelde River is very nice, summer and winter. The rooms are refurbished nice bathroom and bedroom. During the slow seasons pricing is ok, however during the summertime they exagerate in almost tripple the rate. More

Vlissingen is a strange town...kind of like being in Margate but in the Netherlands! Hotel was clean and conveniently located for the beach. Location, space and rooms of this hotel are good: right at the beach, sea view, walking distance from city center. Its four stars are probably more due to location and space than to service. We had not pre booked a room, so were offered a sea view room for a reduced rate (but were unable to see the sea due to the mist). I have stayed at the Arion a few times, Its a good quality hotel, staff are attentive, but quite pricey. A room at the front is a must as the road at the rear can be noisey with motorbikes. More

Very good hotel. Many rooms now have air con which was good for my stay in July and very hot conditions. The chef and barman are great. The staff generally are A+. I would certainly recommend this hotel (but not when I want to go there in case its fully booked :-) ) More
