We stayed at this hotel while on a bike tour. The location was very inconvenient (we got lost in the business park area and arrived exhausted and hungry, and there are no nearby choices for restaurants or anything else for that matter). The hotel was EXTREMELY crowded. We sat down at the hotel restaurant but the businessmen at the table... More

I had to stay there for 4 days for a business trip. The sheets were stinking first day, couldn't sleep. Unlucky me cause i checked in close to midnite. But they weren't changed the day after, that's not ok. Breakfast poor, rooms dirty and small, location medium depending on how much you know about travelling in the NL. There's absolute... More

This hotel is totally functional as somewhere to sleep. That’s it though. The rooms are the typical Continental European “business hotel” type; i.e. small, dull, no bath and zero frills. The TV had no BBC and even the ubiquitous CNN was absent. Breakfast was a joke with very little left when I got in at 8.45am. No pastries, no ham,... More

I stayed in the Bastion Hotel Amsterdam Amstel for 5 nights, while on a business trip to the city. The hotel is located outside the city centre and the only local shop nearby was the Total garage next door! It is a little isolated, in the middle of a business park. It is reasonably close to the Amsterdam Arena and... More

Standard business hotel with a good location near business area of Amsterdam. Room okay in size. Room could be cleaner. Food in the restaurant is good. Breakfast is not that good though. Parkinggarage is sufficient, could be with better lights. Good 3 star hotel.

Stayed here for a week on work. Basic rooms but clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are a bit cramped but adequate. Booked early and got a good rate. Everything worked as advertised but any extra requests are dealt with in a very curt manner - their staff could use some training on handling guests! Overall a good stay for business if... More

Great location - 20 minutes from the hotel door to Centraal Station on the metro, and ample free parking. Bed and Breakfast price good for a city centre location. Rooms are fairly basic but clean and comfortable The only downside is that there are no hairdriers in the bedrooms, and when I asked at reception, there were non available.

The hotel is decently priced which was why we chose it. I sits between 2 stations on the metro however is still a far way to walk. One station is more convenient than the other. The hotel isn't flash. We found it a bit hard to get to when we got off at the station as there were no walk... More

The Bastile deluxe Amsterdam is good for visiting Amsterdam: - free Wifi internet - free parking - near to highway and train/metro ( 10 mins) Cons: - there is no hair dryer in the room. - All cups are one-way plastic cups or of paper hence there will be lots of waste. -There is no RESTAURANT in the hotel in...
