Don't be put off by the slightly dingy exterior - it opens out into a lobby the size of a railway station. We had a room at the back which was incredibly quiet considering the bedlam in the Dam square just yards away - not just any old annual Queen's Day holiday but a Royal Coronation to boot! Stayed from 28/04/13 - 02/06/13. Great posistion, lovely room(491) at front of hotel, bit noisy first two nights, but as Queens Day understandable. Very good buffet breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.
