I loved the location - a very pleasant street, with some very nice bars nearby. About 15mins on the tram from sleazy Amsterdam, but this area is much nicer! The staff were very pleasant as well. However - the room: Ok, I know it was cheap - but the single rooms are miniscule - smaller than you can possibly imagine,... More

Not the best location. Stairs were a pain. Views of the courtyard was interesting. If i did it again i would have chosen a different hotel. They charged me $10 for a lost key card. KEY CARD. The price was right it was a last minute thing. The hotels in Amsterdam overall are not cheap. nov 10

Stayed in the garden room for 3 nights. Very good for a quiet nights sleep. Self contained with a patio area. Other guest in the hotel can share this area but we saw no one else there during our stay. Shower room is small but adequate. Two electric heaters that fire out the heat when needed. Twin beds were comfortable... More

Very very small but expensive twin room. Second day the plastic key didn't work in lock and room was not serviced. Reception said 'you must have left something on the bed in which case they don't clean the room'. No notice to this effect in the bedroom. Breakfast OK. Location v good.

I don't usually write reviews, but I did find this hotel exceptional. With really helpful staff and nice rooms it was a great place to stay. Its very local to everything, so walking distances. No complaints from me!

The Hotel it self is nicely decorated and tidy, not too far from the main square - 20 min walk or 15 euro taxi ride. The room on the other hand was tiny and had no window. It consisted of single bed with just about enough room to stand beside, definitely a case of putting profit before service and trying... More
