sadly they were left by the last occupants of the room and were on the floor. We also booked a twin room and they were full so even though we were there at 1200 we were put in a double room. The hotel is great though for being really close to the museums and is in a quiet safe area.... More

Great location, walking distance to most attractions, though our feet are killing us now we're back, but easy to get around on tram if needed. Nice quiet area and no noise from inside the hotel despite our stay being for queens day which attracts 1 million visitors to Amsterdam. However, church clock opposite chimes every hour and does disturb sleep... More

We had a voucher which clearly said, double room. As we arrived we had to notice that the room was only equipped with a 120cm bed (not even queen size) and only one set of towels. We returned to the reception and were told, that this is fact is supposed to be a double room. They were not able to... More

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I really haven't anything good to say about it. Firstly location - it's in the museum quarter, which is expensive. You're better off staying in the centre of the city and travelling into the museum quarter. Rooms - very shabby. Sleep - very disturbed by the Church clock opposite which rang its... More

This is under new management from 2 months ago, so told me the charming Australian owner, who also owns two others in Amsterdam. It was great, no english were staying there (as we know Amsterdam attracts terrible British on drug and sex tourism), room's were simple and clean. It had all you needed. The breakfast was a good standard and... More

The hotel is little, quite nice for tourists, who spend the whole day walking, coz it's located very close to the center, price is good, but u shouldn't expect something special. Breakfast is alright, service is nice

Having stayed at over a dozen hotels in Amsterdam for the price, this is one of the best. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nothing amazing or wow factor and the décor and standard of rooms do need some TLC and re-papering however, the service received from reception was fantastic at all times. They could not have been more helpful or... More
