Very laid back. Ideally located. Not well run by North American standards (NAS). If you are looking for the NAS, don't go there. You will be disappointed. Very much overpriced for what you get, but Amsterdam is an expensive city and room are small because of the architecture of housing in that city. The big american chain have hotel near... More

We traveled as a group of 5 people and we were accommodated in 2 doubles and one single room. We had no problems throughout our stay, the staff was very friendly and helful, they provided us a map and guidence to find important places in the city. Although we had a pretty cold weather, the rooms were heated, they were... More

Situated in an affluent area behind the Concert Hall this is a poor quality budget hotel. The room had peeling wallpaper, marks on the wall which looked suspiciously like blood, torn curtains and bed linen, and the shower room was half-painted. Not all the electric sockets worked and the room was dirty. The breakfast buffet was adequate but make sure... More

Room was fine, breakfast passable but cold showers make me think I will be going elsewhere should I return to Amsterdam.

I booked in via an agent, and there was some hoo ha as we when we got there they could not find our reservation causing some concern. Then they showed us to a room that had not been tidied and the bed remained unmade??!!! But overall, they were small, quiet and comfortable rooms, and reasonable for the price. The breakfast... More

Stayed here beginning of July when attending the White Sensation party at the Arena. Paid £270 for 2 nights , an utterly exorbitant price for 2 nights in this hotel. Very average and an extremley dated hotel. One of the men working at the front desk was border line obnoxious to boot. I paid extra for a late check out... More

We arrived at the Omega early in the morning from the ferry to drop off our bags. When we returned later in the afternoon to check in (we couldn't check in earlier), we were told we had been bumped to another hotel. No apologies, and when offered a room at the Omega to share between three (as opposed to the... More

The room was not very big and dusty (telephone, TV, mirror, pictures). 2 lamps beside my bed did not work. They could repair one. Bad lightning in general. Tiny bathroom (when I bent to the wash-basin, I burned my backside at the heater). The breakfast was rather poor (very good coffee, but only one type of sausage, one type of... More
