Like: Very well situated and easy to find. Not as big but with a wide variety of room choice. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast OK. Dislike: sometimes You can miss to find your room, but it doesn't strains. Possible parking problems.

Stayed a long weekend in this hotel; the staff are friendly and helpful and the place has character. The Ambassade is located directly on the Herrengracht and is central to most destinations (and a 10 minute taxi ride or 20 minute walk to the Museumplein). Very nice hotel, all the rooms are different, very nice decorated. A lot of art on the walls in the hallways. Staff are such good hosts. You can ask then anything and they help you with everything. The library is a must to see. All the writers who stayed in the hotel left a signed book.

Right smack in the middle of the city and walking distance from a lot of cool little cafes and restaurants.staff was extremely friendly and helpful.In comparison of to other hotels in Europe, room was big and very clean. Will definitely go back if I ever visit Amsterdam again.
