We stayed because we did not stay hotel in the center of Amsterdam and our flight left early morning. Everytime you go out hotel (except inside airport), you have to go though immigration office and get stamp. Room is clean and quiet.

Needed to stay near the airport and this hotel is enclosed in a little park off of the highway and you feel as if you are nowhere near the highway or the airport. Service was good and room was clean. 1) I spent 2 hours waiting at shuttle bus terminal to catch their shuttle bus and missed 6 times. Why? A) They hire other bus company to run their shuttle bus and Mercure sign is a A4 size paper on driver seat window. B) Their shuttle bus only can accommodate 8 person. The hotel is located 300 meters from the exit of the highway. Check inn was quick.The room was very nice with coffee making facilities and everything you would expect from a Mercure hotel. Regular 3-star hotel, It is probably only helpful to guests who need to catch an early flight. There is a free shuttle every 30 min to the airport (about 10 min away) and a regular bus that travels directly into town (Leidseplein, about 20 min). Overpriced for what it is. 4 star hotel which has room service that completely closes at 11pm (note that it is an airport hotel).
