We stayed at Eva apartments back in Feb, my first time in Amsterdam. Our apartment was on the first floor above a gift shop (which seemed to pump out loud dance music most of the day, sometimes starting very early in the morning). The apartment was cramped and the bedroom unbearably claustrophobic. The double bed was tiny and very lumpy... More

The title sums it up - the apartments are very central and a short walk from the train station.
